Wonderful book! Could not put it down, read it in one day. Has the compassion and suspense every reader wants, but is easy to relate to. Can not wait for another book by Lisa White. Have not been this enthralled in a book since
Fifty Shades of Grey......but Laws of Love was one I was okay with my teenagers getting hold of!
I enjoyed this book; it is an easy read which made it perfect for me at the time. I particulary liked the way the heroine handled her law business; just a nice, romantic story with emphasis on " family values" ;a good ending (I especially liked the twist near the end of the book). I have recommended this book to others.
The Laws of Love is a great first novel from Lisa White. It was a really fun read, with a little bit of everything love, romance, comedy, mystery, suspense. I read it during a long weekend trip at the beach, and it was such a fun read. It was easy to quickly relate to the characters and believe the love story between them. I can't wait for her next book!
This book has it all! Suspense, murder, lost love once again found, a smart woman with a career, unscrupulous legal eagles, scrupulous legal eagles and of course woman's best friend, her faithful dog. I could go on!
The Laws of Love is a quickly engaging and thoroughly enjoyable story. White's characters are well-developed and believable. As others have mentioned, I was pleasantly surprised and intrigued by the "whodunit" element to this romantic novel. This book would make a PERFECT Lifetime movie, and I can't wait to read the next release from Lisa White!
So easy reading for a time of relaxation. I liked this book for the storyline and length of the book. I choose my books based on the reviews others submit and glad I chose this one. Great job for her first novel and will definitely read another Lisa White book.
The book was okay. A quick read but there was one phrase that was repeated over and over in the book to the point it was annoying and I'm sure that anyone that has read it will know exactly what I'm talking about. I was a little disappointed in the mix of faith and then the sex scenes although they weren't terribly graphic they were more than I care to read. I really wish that would put a rating on the books so you would know what you were getting into.
